Mahasarakham University ranked the 6th of Thailand in Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2022. China is home to the continent’s top two universities for the third consecutive year, with Tsinghua and Peking universities holding on to first and second place, respectively. Meanwhile, Japan is the most-represented nation again this year, with 118 institutions, up from 116 last year.
The Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2022 use the same 13 performance indicators as the THE World University Rankings, but they are recalibrated to reflect the attributes of Asia’s institutions. The performance indicators are grouped into five areas: teaching (the learning environment); research (volume, income and reputation); citations (research influence); international outlook (staff, students and research); and industry income (knowledge transfer). The area where MSU scored the best was industry income, which means the university is strong in transfer of academic knowledge and research and innovation. It can be help the fabrication industry, which is the core mission of contemporary world-class educational institutions.
Maintaining and developing operational standards of Mahasarakham University at local, national and international levels. It is widely accepted and sustainable in all dimensions. This can be measured by requesting for cooperation from both internal and external agencies for cooperation in the development of curricula, activities, research to be more effective, as well as the intention of sending international students to study in different faculties. Being ranked in the Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2022 confirms Mahasarakham University’s commitment to becoming a top university in Asia by 2026.
