40 PhD Fellowships in Mathematics funded by the MSCA funded MathInParis project
This programme offers an extremely attractive place in the FSMP network in Paris for international students planning to prepare a PhD in mathematics. Fellows will enroll in one of the three Doctoral schools of Paris and the PhD project can also be in partnership with Industry. Details here

Denmark - Up to 15 Research Fellowships in all Disciplines and Topics. ASEAN Researchers Eligible
The Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies (AIAS) has up to research  fellowships available for the most talented researchers from around the world, including ASEAN,  and within all research disciplines and topics. Applicants must have a PhD and a minimum of two years of full time postdoctoral research experience.  Details here

Postdoc Fellowships Open to ASEAN Researchers at  Europe's Leading Universities of Science and Technology
The  EuroTechPostdoc Programme is a postdoctoral fellowship programme for young experienced researchers who have already demonstrated excellence and potential in their field of research. All EuroTech Postdoc Fellows will be Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellows. Four universities  (DTU, EPFL, TU/e and TUM) will grant 80 fellowships divided over two calls for experienced researchers. Germany: International Climate Protection Fellowship for Young Climate Experts from Developing Countries. ASEAN Researchers Eligible
Are you a future leader from a developing country in ASEAN and are active in climate change research?  Are you are interested in spending a year working with a host of your choice in Germany on a research-based project you have developed yourself?  Up to 20 International Climate Protection Fellowships are granted annually that target prospective leaders from non-European transition and developing countries, including countries in ASEAN.  German language training is offered. Details here

Hungary – Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarships. Undergraduate to PhD
Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme for bachelor, master, doctoral, and non-degree programmes (preparatory and specialisation courses) in Hungary. The  call is open to citizens of Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia , Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, and Vietnam. Apart from the tuition-free education, the Programme provides a monthly stipend, medical insurance and housing allowance. Details here

Turkey - TÜBİTAK ‟2221” Fellowships for Visiting Scientists and Scientists on Sabbatical Leave. ASEAN Researchers Eligible
Fellowships offered to researchers who would like to give workshops, conferences, lectures, or conduct R&D activities in Turkey. Three types of visits are granted:  Short-term (up to 1 month), Long-term (up to 12 months) and Sabbatical Leave (from 3 months to 12 months). Grants cover monthly stipend and travel costs. Fantastic Turn Out for the European Research Day in Penang, Malaysia  
More than 170 researchers attended the EURAXESS ASEAN European Research Day 2018 Malaysia kindly hosted by Universiti Sains Malaysia in Penang on 26 November.  Guided by its motto ‘Europe: Open to the world’ the participants learned about the opportunities for research collaboration and researcher mobility on offer to the Malaysian research community. Slides are now available for download.

The European Commission (EC) has launched a new corporate Funding and Tender Opportunities Portal.   This portal will replace the current Participant Portal and will become the single entry point for finding and managing EU grants and procurement contracts.

Germany and the EU Renew Support to Strengthen Mekong Transboundary Water Cooperation
The Mekong River Commission (MRC), the Government of Germany and the European Union signed agreements worth EUR 8.92 million to enhance Mekong cross-border water cooperation, at the sidelines of the 25th Meeting of the MRC Council. More info here
